This is a simple and efficient-to-use routine medical imaging test phantom which is used daily to evaluate the imaging performance of digital and conventional fluoroscopic systems. You can simply check the baseline number. If these numbers ever avert from the norm then this may indicate deterioration of image quality in your fluoroscopic imaging system. This should be used with a Copper attenuator which can be bought separately.
It allows for evaluation of:
- Beam alignment and collimation
- Spatial resolution
- Dynamic range (Different thickness Cu steps each with a central 4.0mm diameter detail, depth 2.5 mm)
- Contrast resolution 10mm diameter details ranging from depths 0.4 to 4.0 mm
- Homogeneity
